Abstract

Working together with the lean culture and change management is necessary for the organization to move forward by achieving their objectives, quickly adapting to the needs of the environment, and eliminating waste or changes in the different processes; this project proposes the application of both methodologies to increase production in a cattle feed company. Its main results lie in the indicators of capacity, percentage of use and increase in efficiency and the distribution system; With the proposal to implement a production program in the farms, it will be modified to eliminate the gaps between processes and the planning of schedules to load the trucks, raising the use by approximately 40%, tools such as the Process Map, VSM, Kaizen journal were used to list the problems found and generate improvement actions for each of these problems. At the end of the investigation, some conclusions can be obtained about the possible benefits and main pillars of Lean and must be applied in the current lean change management method to optimize and stabilize its challenges. These are leadership, communication, and people, the absolute most important factors in an organization and its operations.
