Abstract

This research, due to its design, is descriptive and exploratory and its objective is to determine, based on the appreciation that managers or those responsible for warehouse control within SMEs have, the importance of implementing an inventory control system, such as a management tool that allows to offer timely and truthful information for effective decision-making that guarantees profitability. The results obtained in the research show that the SME entrepreneur is aware that the quality of the inventory control systems that they currently have in their businesses is of poor quality, because they do not have timely information to help them generate strategies for efficiently the new normal. In conclusion, the warehouse control systems is tool that have information in real time, which will allow the company to make effective decisions, thereby saving time and costs in a sustainable way.
