Abstract

This project addresses a critical challenge at the electric utility: the lack of proper maintenance of vehicles used by workers. This has led to disruptions in daily work and project delays. To address this situation, methodologies such as the 8D approach and the use of key performance indicators (KPIs) have been applied. These strategies seek to improve vehicle availability and reduce response times for problem resolution. Through containment actions, the implementation of preventive maintenance programs, and the optimization of customer service processes, significant results have been achieved, such as a reduction in average response times and improved customer satisfaction. These achievements demonstrate the importance of an efficient approach to vehicle maintenance and problem management to ensure the quality of service provided by the electric utility.
