This research, due to its design, is descriptive and exploratory and its objective is to identify the use of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in SMEs that helps to determine, based on the perception of managers, the importance it has as a contribution active in the sustainable development of society and the generation of competitive advantage for the company. The results, of an exploratory nature, allow us to maintain that although SME the managers are not clear about the benefits of a CSR model, they have a positive attitude and are open to generate commitment for its application if they have a proposal for its application in their businesses.
