This research is developed with an exploratory, non-experimental and descriptive methodological approach in the Department of Administrative and Agricultural Sciences of the University of Sonora. Its objective is to analyze the impact of the use of artificial intelligence (AI) tools on teaching processes in university education. The results reflect the self-perception of teachers about the use of AI, highlighting its advantages and applications. For them, AI is seen as a powerful tool with the potential to transform teaching and learning. It is concluded that it is essential to design learning environments that integrate pedagogical strategies and information and communication technologies (ICT) based on AI, favoring interaction between teachers and students and creating an environment conducive to knowledge and learning.
