The objective of this study was to analyze the predictive role of emotional intelligence on anxiety, depression and stress in nursing students from the Benito Juárez Academic Unit. A total of 60 students participated (70% girls, 30% boys), Age = 21.45; SD = .462; range = 20 - 24 years). With the results obtained, we can say that our study obtained a good internal consistency for emotional attention (a = .88), emotional control (a = .91) and emotional regulation (a = .84), as well as a good internal consistency for anxiety (a = .86), depression (a = .84) and stress (a = .87)
