Abstract

Domestic water wastage occurs through various household activities, such as using toilets, showers, laundry, landscaping, and dishwashing. Traditional water meters generally provide a cumulative consumption reading, overlooking the potential for optimizing individual water usage sources. Utilizing modern technology is crucial for developing effective solutions to optimize water consumption in residential settings. By capturing extensive consumption data, it becomes possible to apply advanced data science techniques to enhance optimization efforts. This study introduces a testbed designed to facilitate the collection of detailed consumption data, laying the groundwork for more efficient water use management
