This research, by its design is descriptive-correlational, and its objective is to determine, based on the opinion of entrepreneurs of SMEs of Hermosillo, Sonora, if the development of innovation strategies used in the management of their businesses, generates business competitiveness. The results obtained show that entrepreneurs of SMEs, develop strategies with the aim of attracting and maintaining their customers, through the innovation of their products and good customer service, thus achieving competitive advantages. In conclusion, entrepreneurs are aware that the dynamics of change that is currently generated in business, requires entrepreneurship to implement innovation strategies within its management processes to allow them to generate business competitiveness.
