Abstract

The objective of this research work is to analyze the recruitment of children and adolescents (NNA) in the southern border of Mexico and its relationship in the commission of crimes by organized crime groups. A comparative study was carried out between specialized doctrine, quantitative data and the main legal instruments on the matter. The need to classify the crime of recruitment of people in the criminal codes of Mexico is highlighted and it is concluded with the urgent attention to the factors that cause vulnerability of NNA such as violence, poverty and inequality, which are incentives for recruitment by the organized crime.
