Abstract

This research work was carried out under a descriptive-correlational methodological approach and was applied to a simple random sample of 50 entrepreneurs located in the city of Hermosillo, Sonora, belonging to the retail trade sector, with a workforce between 10 and 250 workers. with a minimum antiquity of three years in the market and who were in confinement caused by the pandemic generated by COVID-19 during the three months from March 20 to June 20, 2020, and subsequently implemented a physical exercises program, for a period of 6 months after confinement. The objective is to determine, from the perspective of entrepreneurs, how physical activity influences the reduction of work stress. The main results show that the diagnosis carried out showed the impact that work stress has on entrepreneurs in Hermosillo, Sonora, and the need to perform physical exercises during work activity, to reduce stress levels. As a final conclusion, performing physical exercises during work activity can help improve the psychological health of the entrepreneur in such a way that it could reduce stress and be reflected in their work performance.
