Abstract

Education in Mexico is facing a historical and disruptive event, in which emancipatory education is taken up by the New Mexican School as a spearhead against the hegemonic and colonialist ontology that has prevailed and has been reproduced under the shelter of neoliberal capitalism for decades in classrooms, generating citizens alien to their reality and subjected to mercantilisms that reproduce inequality. The objective of this article is to make a theoretically based analysis of the different types of thinking. These allow us to have an overview of those knowledges that can be developed from cognitive elements that are already biologically possessed, but that, however, one is not aware of, and, therefore, one does not have the tools to access, identify and enhance the knowledge that can be acquired, or that one even ignores having. It is in this way that, in the following academic work, through the methodology of bibliographic analysis of different authors, the scope that the human mind can have through the types of thinking is addressed, such as: logical, critical, epistemological, disruptive, theoretical, mathematical, metacognitive, systemic thinking, as well as its relationship with management processes, intelligence and creativity, which allow the development of different knowledge. The analysis is important because the development of the different types of thinking allows a full development in everyday life, and awareness of being, however, it is necessary to know and identify each of the types of thoughts, and how to enhance the knowledge that are related.
