Traditionally, this process required constant human intervention, including the manual activation of pumps and supervised tank filling, which was not only inefficient but also posed accident risks and scheduling limitations. In response to user-expressed needs for continuous water access (24/7), this study presents the development of an automated water dispensing system. Operating uninterruptedly 365 days a year, the system uses a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) as its core, an HMI (Human-Machine Interface) as the main interface, and a flow sensor for feedback and precise process control. This approach allows users to acquire water at any time, fill their tanks autonomously, and depart without the need for personal assistance, significantly improving the efficiency, safety, and accessibility of the water supply.
