Abstract

This article aims to design a solution to a payment and appointment
management problem that some Electrodiagnostic and Physiotherapy Centers are dealing
with. This is because a system for its administrative management has yet to be found.
Consequently, carrying out the process of registering a patient, scheduling an
appointment, or putting the notes of a consultation is done inefficiently using spreadsheets.
We designed a web application with which users can carry out the entire administrative
management process, such as schedule appointments, and add an appointment reminder

in Google Calendar, among other operations. For collecting information, we use semi-
structured interviews with the stakeholders of the process. Regarding the analysis and

interpretation of the information, techniques, methods, and tools were used to design
diagrams and user interfaces in a formal way. With this, the design of the proposed solution
can be beneficial to this type of center since the architecture was based on the experiences
obtained from the stakeholders.
