Antecedentes de la Inteligencia Competitiva
Abstract
Competitive Intelligence (CI) has established itself as a key tool for the strategic management of information in organizations. Its origin dates back to the practices of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) of the United States in 1941, evolving to become a methodology applied in the business environment. This article reviews the background, definitions and key elements of CI, highlighting its relevance in decision making and its impact on the hotel sector in the Heroic City of Huajuapan de Leon. Successful cases are analyzed and data is presented to demonstrate the benefits of CI in business competitiveness.
