Simplified Joint Stock Companies, with a nine-year term in Mexico
Abstract
The objective of this research article is to analyze the evolution of the General Law of Commercial Companies, since its implementation until now, and whether it has fulfilled its mission of supporting and facilitating the incorporation process for entrepreneurs; in turn, the results of the same research are presented, which refers that in 2016 the General Law of Mercantile Companies was reformed, creating a new model of company called Simplified Joint Stock Company (SAS), which encourages the creation of small and medium-sized companies, with the government complying with some international standards proposed by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). There has been progress in the creation of new MSMEs since then, but the lack of public intervention in this process is notorious. The approach of the present research was carried out under a qualitative approach, in a descriptive manner, providing an accurate and detailed representation of the subject in question, collecting data through content analysis, organizing and presenting them in a systematic way, providing a solid base of information on the subject; with the above, to move towards more in-depth or analytical research.
