Abstract

Evolution has overcome different challenges, but without considering sustainability for future generations; Humanity is in an era of action, where interdisciplinary work is required to improve the quality of life. In 2015, the UN approved the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development, an opportunity for countries and their societies to embark on a path to improve human life. The need to break with paradigms allows the emergence of a new economic model that provides socioeconomic, ecological and public policy balance, mitigating climate change in favor of a prosperous and sustainable future. This document reflects on the participation of men in care tasks, from the perspective of the circular economy to make raw materials more efficient, reduce environmental impact, take advantage of natural resources and boost the domestic economy in communities; Furthermore, it is done from a gender perspective to reflect on the participation of men and women under equal conditions; The work focuses on men to debate the social construction of masculinity in the community work setting.
