The labor resources and economic support programs available to people in the context of social mobility in the southern border of Mexico are currently scarce and therefore the need to make them visible. The objective of this research is to analyze the importance of labor opportunities for migrants, applying the case study method to a Honduran man who currently receives support from the Program for the Welfare of People in Social or Natural Emergencies, finding that the labor rights guarantee not only provide economic resources, but also social contribution and welfare to the subjects immersed in them. It is concluded that entry to the PBPESN represents an opportunity to guarantee labor access for people in the context of international mobility, which leads to the economic and social integration of those who enter the host community.
