Abstract

One of the pillars of the economic growth and development of any state has to do with the way in which a government makes use of Public Expenditure, as well as the approaches with which it is applied in its fiscal policy.   The purpose of this research work is to analyze the role of public goods within societies and nations, as well as their evolution since the second half of the 20th century.  The frame of reference is the previous studies and ideas on the Public Treasury that arise from the works of Musgrave and Oates.   The work is of a descriptive, non-experimental type with a trial analysis.  The compiled information is carried out by means of a bibliographic review of the topic using documentary analysis techniques aimed at the review and evaluation of sources related to the topic of this study, based on books and articles of indexed journals that allow strengthening the theoretical bases approached for the reflection and presentation of ideas of the authors in the essay presented.
