Abstract

Tequila is a significant component of the Mexican economy, with an important impact in several areas. This essentially Mexican drink has great weight in the agricultural industry and job creation, but also contributes significantly to the country's exports and trade. Additionally, tequila-related tourism plays a key role in the local economy. However, the tequila industry faces challenges related to regulations and social and environmental issues.
