Abstract

The study starts with the analysis of two variables of recent interest by organizations regarding dynamic capabilities (DC) and business growth (BG). According to the literature, DC promotes competitive advantages, while BG is a part of the goals set by profit-seeking organizations.

Using a bibliometric approach from 2006 to 2023, the Web of Science (WoS) database was employed. The aim of this article is to analyze the number of articles published per year, citations per year, most cited articles, authors with the highest citations, countries with the highest productivity index, and their bibliographic coupling with other countries. It also examines keywords, co-citation of the most prolific and influential authors, journal correlations, bibliographic coupling of organizations with the highest production on the main variables. To achieve this, VosViewer and Excel software were utilized.

It was evident that the main study variables show an increasing trend in publications, demonstrating that these topics are within the frontier of knowledge. Additionally, sustainability is closely related to growth and dynamic capabilities, incorporating variables and study categories on the environment, resources, entrepreneurship, innovation, green entrepreneurship, and changes in business models towards a sustainability-oriented economy.
