Facultad de atracción de la Scjn en el juicio de amparo, un análisis del caso Gertz Manero

Abstract

In this paper we will talk about the faculty that Mexico’s Supreme Court has to exercise jurisdiction during amparo proceedings. First, the procedural figure is conceptualized and then contextualized, analyzing its historical origin in Mexico. Also, the legal framework is analyzed, specifically Amparo Law and Mexico’s Constitution. Finally, an analysis on the Gertz Manero case is developed.
